Bookil is operated by Labee LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how Bookil handles your data.

1. Personal information

Bookil does not collect any personal information from you. This includes names, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, location data, and contact data.

Bookil does not share any personal information with third parties. Because no personal information is collected, there is nothing to share.

3. Local data

The PDF files you import, your reading history, bookmarks, annotations, and collections are stored on your device. None of this data is sent to Labee or any third party.

4. Face ID, Touch ID, and passcode

When you lock a collection, Bookil asks the system to verify Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode. Authentication runs entirely on your device. No biometric data leaves the device, and Bookil does not see it.

5. Security

Bookil avoids collecting personal information, which reduces the surface area for data breaches. The lock on a private collection hides books from the in-app library view. Bookil does not modify the PDF files themselves. Exported Bookil Library.json files are plain JSON and should be stored somewhere you trust.

6. User rights

Because Bookil does not collect personal information, there is no personal data to request, modify, or delete.

7. Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated. Any changes will be announced within the app or on this page.

8. Feedback form

When you use the feedback form, you may share your name and email address. Those are used only to respond to your inquiry and are not shared with third parties.
